Escalate with RMK · Full-day live course · 15 and 20 June
Turn expertise
into influence.
The work gets you into the room. What you say once you’re there decides whether anything happens. This is where you learn the difference.
The problem
Brilliant ideas die in rooms they should have won — not because the analysis was wrong, but because the story was.
The CFO presents numbers nobody remembers. The consultant delivers recommendations nobody implements. The founder pitches an opportunity nobody funds. The idea was never the issue.
Information alone rarely changes behaviour. People act when they understand, commit when they believe, and follow when they connect. That is a skill — and it can be built.
How it’s built
Every persuasive case follows the same three moves.
Conflict
Frame the problem your audience actually cares about — and the cost of doing nothing. Inertia, not the rival bid, is what kills most proposals.
Resolution
Build the story that carries the decision: the one number that matters, a logical spine people can hold, complexity made simple instead of shown off.
Action
Land the close with presence — the clarity, structure and authenticity that create confidence in others and move a room to act.
- Open strong. Lead with the decision and the stakes, not your methodology.
- Cut to the signal. Find the single point that changes minds.
- Build executive presence. Command a room without raising your voice.
- Handle the high-stakes room. Boards, investors, ministries, clients.
Who it’s for
For experts whose ideas deserve more traction than they get.

CFOs, partners and consultants who present analysis to people who decide.
Founders & executives
Anyone pitching a vision, raising capital, or aligning a team behind a direction.
Senior professionals
Technically excellent people ready to turn expertise into influence.
Your instructor
The boardroom taught me a lot about this. The stage taught me more.
Rizwan M. Khan is the founder of RMK Associates and the force behind Escalate with RMK.
For more than ten years he has led the calls, presentations, keynotes and talks — and written the storytelling inside the business plans and decks — that move capital and decisions for ministries, governments, sovereign investors, family offices and institutions across multiple regions.
He teaches communication from more than one craft. As an original musician and songwriter, he learned structure and emotional arc; as a stand-up comedian, the no-mercy discipline of timing and economy; and through poetry and writing, that restraint and precision beat volume every time. It’s the same craft as advising an investment committee — just stripped of the jargon.
